Whole company is based on their private blog network

Pros

Always paid me on time

Cons

They will say they don’t have a private blog network, but they do

Pros

They are so bad that they don’t even realize it.

Cons

Fake SEO that gets you flagged on Google. They are focused on beating churn instead of actually providing value to their clients. Avoid.

Advice to Management

You know what you’re doing is wrong and bad (unless you honestly don’t. And if that’s the case, then lol). Stop trying to tricking people into thinking it’s good.

Comments:  I put this at the top.  It’s a true honest representation of what Boostability is.

Pros

Free drinks

Some nice people

Decent location

Cons

Low pay

Rude manager

Shaky legality

Mind numbing work

Advice to Management

If you need to use proxies to keep from getting blocked then you’re probably doing something wrong.

Writing comments as a “non-professional” ends up filling the internet with fake, useless content.

Helping small businesses while spreading nonsense across the internet with fake accounts doesn’t sound like a moral mission.

One of your clients was actually selling research chemicals, grey area drugs that are pumped out of labs in China to dodge the DEA.

Comments: They are calling out the blog comment spamming that Boostability does.  He even understands that they are just cluttering the internet with useless content.

The Only Thing They Chew Through Faster Than Tasks Is People

Pros

If you have absolutely no professional experience, you can most likely still land a job at Boostability as it’s a revolving door of entry-level positions. There are no growth opportunities, but you can learn a bit and get out in six months or less.

Cons

Employees who stay at Boostability work their way up the shallow ladder of raises until they either get stuck in middle management or get swallowed up whole by corporate on the off chance that upper management doesn’t hire an external candidate. The toxic trickle-down culture is what will drain your soul.

Advice to Management

There’s plenty of advice spanning years at this point on every job review site that lists Boostability, so I guess I’ll just say, “Take the advice.”

Comments: This one points out the inexperience of anyone that works there.

The Incredible Shrinking SEO Company

Pros

You have to write something so . . . still got nothing

Cons

If cancel culture is real and we can cancel horrible things – can someone please cancel Boostability? Asking for a friend. Don’t get stuck doing subpar work for a subpar company with incredibly subpar management.

Comments: This one indicates that the company is losing clients and highlights the low quality of work they do.

Bad

Pros

They had soda machines and a ping pong table

Cons

They were really bad. Poor culture. Childish leadership. Bullying. If you weren’t the bosses close friend, you would either be fired or pushed aside. REAL marketing firms will laugh at you when they see Boostability on your resume.

Comments: Another account manager highlighted that no other SEO company would hire a Boostability employee.  They would have to train them.

It’s OK to work here

Pros

Somewhat laid-back environment; relatively easy work

Cons

Nepotism runs rampant; SEO practices aren’t super great; One of the departments does gray hat, spammy SEO at best; In order for an employee to gain comprehensive SEO experience/knowledge with the company, you need to move around to different departments; Long history of drama in upper management; Company sometimes finds excuses not to give employees decent pay increases/bonuses.

Comments: A specialist pointing out the “grey hat” spammy SEO they do.
